Wholesale Services
TDC offers a wide product portfolio to carrier customers, resellers and ISP operators. The wholesale services provided are as follows:
Network Capacity Services (NCS) consist of point-to-point connections offered in TDC's Nordic fibre network. NCS provides a secure connection fully managed by TDC. The service is offered on a Nordic, European and national basis. The service allows carriers and ISPs to build and complement their backbone networks. The service supports up to 10 Gbit/s.
Access Capacity Services consist of connections to end-users over the TDC network. TDC has built local access fibre networks in major cities in the Nordic region. The service can be combined with TDC's other capacity services such as Network Capacity Services (NCS) and Dedicated Wavelength (DW).
Freephone Transit is based on freephone number allocation for the customer. Calls to the allocated freephone numbers are routed and terminated by TDC. The call routings are handled through TDC's own voice network. The termination can be made either to a switch, dedicated circuits or to a PSTN number in a particular country. Freephone numbers are available in all Nordic countries, Estonia, Latvia and Germany.
Voice Termination is provided by TDC with competitive terms. TDC routes and terminates international voice traffic into the Nordic countries through its backbone and local interconnects. International termination is offered through international interconnects with worldwide coverage.
IP Transit is a high-quality IP-based transit service offered through TDC's own Pan-Nordic network to Nordic, European and Global Internet Exchange points (IX).
Wholesale IP-VPN is a dedicated MPLS-based IP-VPN (Internet Protocol Virtual Private Network) local access service fully managed by TDC. The service is a high-quality IP-based VPN service provided for operator's own customers in the Nordic region. The service is available from 512 kbit/s to 10 Gbit/s.
Wholesale VoIP Gateway Services provides the customer with SIP based VoIP termination (and origination) into (and from) PSTN. Service achieves comparable quality to PSTN and requires no own gateway equipment from wholesale customer connecting to the service.
